7:00-ish More tree decorating, carol singing, blanket making, card decoration, and general merriment
Join us for a celebration of Advent and Christmas traditions—open to those of any faith tradition or none—including caroling, tree decorating, a contemplative service of Lessons and Carols, outreach project, and a festive potluck dinner. Main dishes will be provided and we invite you to bring your favorite holiday dish to share and any questions you have about Advent and Christmas!
In the spirit of the season, making blankets and decorating cards for nursing home residents.
Lessons and Carols is a traditional service alternating Scripture readings and hymns that. No faith commitment is required/expected to attend the service.
Turkey and a vegan main dish, will be provided, along with salad and baked goods and the traditional Christmas beverages of hot chocolate and egg nog. Feel free to bring a festive dish from your own family/tradition.
All are welcome, of any faith or none. Come when you can, stay as long as you like.
