November 03, 2016 at Tenth Life in St. Louis, MO.
As you may know, up to 15 cats and kittens reside at Tenth Life’s home-like storefront while they await their forever homes. Curious cats and kittens make for a fun yoga experience. A fundraiser like this one not only introduces more people to the work of Tenth Life while directly supporting it, it helps to socialize the cats who live there, as well.
ABOUT THE CLASS…
This is an open level yoga class. You only need a mat and a love of cats to participate! Curious kitties will be meandering about whilst we get our stretch on. This class is meant to be fun and nourishing to our bodies and souls while helping Tenth Life give cats the lives they deserve!
Tickets are available for a donation of just $10 or more!*
*There may be a small processing fee incurred when you checkout using Eventbrite.
We’ll begin selling tickets for each date two weeks prior to the event. Look for sales to go live at 1AM two Thursdays before yoga night. They will be available until sold out or until 3pm on the day of the event.
Because this is a fundraiser for Tenth Life and Ami graciously donates her time to make this event possible, we will not offer refunds but you can feel good about doing good for cats and the community while also doing something good for yourself. If you cannot attend for any reason, you may gift your spot to a friend or a stranger by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by posting on our Facebook event page.
Thank you for your generous support!
To prepare you for a fun experience, here are a few important things to remember:
-Class begins at 6PM and will run until 7PM.
-Doors open 30 minutes before the event at 5:30PM.
-Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure your spot on the floor … and hang out with kitties!
-Please note that doors will close at 6PM. Stragglers will not be admitted once class begins so don’t dawdle!
-Allergic to cats? Please remember to take your meds because kitties may be all up in your grill.
Ami is a local bellydance teacher and performer who’s been in business since 1999. Ami believes that bellydance and yoga are innately connected and bring about the union of body, mind, and soul. Ami started doing yoga in 1996 and has been practicing different styles ever since. In 2010, she got her 200 ryt from East-West Healing under the direction of Jaime Sanchez at Urban Breath. Since then she continues to take classes with other instructors weekly and teaches a couple classes out of her studio, Amorticious, and several private lessons both on location and at her studio. Ami comes to Tenth Life to teach yoga to satisfy an empty spot in her heart due to not having a cat (because she lives in her dance studio) and to give back to the community.
Ami graciously donates her time to bring our community together at Tenth Life and we cannot thank her enough so please help us by thanking her, as well!
You can find out more info about Ami at her website www.amiamore.com.
